Constructed in 2002, the Beren Tennis Center features two batteries of four courts that are enclosed by new fencing and include tour-grade nets and posts. The playing surface is identical to the surface at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, home to the U.S. Open .
In 2003 the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center (DBRC) opened on the Marietta College campus.
The DBRC established a wellness facility to host varsity, intramural and personal athletic activities in the renovated 54,000 square-foot Ban Johnson Arena and a newly constructed 84,000 square-foot fieldhouse.
